The 9th International Week Will Take Place at Our Institution in May

From May 5 to 9, Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution will host International Week, bringing together representatives of the academic community from the European Union and third countries.

This year’s event is titled Experience. Connections. Culture encourages the active development of international relations and cooperation between higher education institutions from various countries. Guests are expected from Armenia, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, the Dominican Republic, Greece, Spain, Colombia, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Turkey, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.

During the week, there will be presentations from the visiting institutions and faculties of Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution, offering an opportunity to learn about the institution's activities, study programs, and other opportunities. International guests will participate in various educational activities, creative workshops, and seminars, as well as explore the city of Šiauliai, and visit Pakruojis Manor and the Hill of Crosses.

The event will also include a presentation on the activities of the European University Alliance – NEOLAiA.

One of the main goals of the event is to promote cooperation among representatives of different cultures and to strengthen cultural and academic exchanges among students and lecturers from various countries. It is a great opportunity to broaden horizons, deepen knowledge, gain international experience, and establish new connections.

The International Relations Office invites members of the Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution community to join the following activities:

– May 5 from 10:15 AM to 1:00 PM – guest presentations in room 009, Central Building.

– May 6 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM – Cultural Booth at the Faculty of Health Care's sports hall. Attendees will have a chance to meet international guests, discuss cooperation opportunities, and taste the snacks they bring.

– May 7 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM – Open lecture “How to Prepare a Good Application for Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (KA2)”, held by lecturer Yodgorbek Ismoiljonov from Uzbekistan, in room 211, First Building of the Faculty of Business and Technologies.
